Turmeric Powder is made from Salem variety which is a root crop grown as a intercrop between lanes of our main Sugarcane crop. The roots are tended with organic Jeevamrut and Panchgavya as manure and Dashparni Ark as pest control spray. Salem Turmeric's main ingredient is 'curcumin' which exhibits a wide range of medicinal properties. Dry Turmeric Rhizomes are harvested and cleaned manually. Turmeric fingers are then chopped in small pieces and sun-dried. The dried pieces are then ground to make Turmeric Powder.
